Melissa, I just have to tell you what a great dog Pappy is. I used to be a dog breeder myself and I have never come across a more intelligent and willing to please dog than this. I can't believe how fast she learns. It only took me 1 month to house train her! I am planning to show her and maybe get into agility with her. Pappy's markings and color are exqusite. I now know what you mean when you said their adult coloring and markings may change. She is so beautiful! I get so many compliments on her and send everybody to you. Not only is she very loyal to me, she loves the whole family too. She helped my son get over the loss of our other dog that passed away. Thank you so, so much for Pappy and we could not imagine life without her.
Sincerely, Sutanna

Hi Melissa. Just a quick update, Obi is awesome! I will send you a picture soon so you can see him. My vet was really impressed at how you had his shots all scheduled out and how well behaved he is. He said he was a perfect puppy specimen. I cannot thank you enough for our new baby. He has started to lose a bit of hair already but is adorable. He has become such an important member of our family. Also, I have referred a few people to you, one being my best friend who is like a sister to me. She may be emailing you. Syl and I will be looking into the litters due after January and possibly collecting a second baby.

Melissa, Here is Oliver during one of his walks.
We went to the farmer's market, had breakfast at a sidewalk café
and he just strutted his stuff through the farmer's market. He was a hit.
Even a "huge" mastiff wanted to be his friend. That was really funny. He
is adjusting to walking, meeting new people and other dogs. Doing real good for not even being 3 months old, yet.

Melissa, here is Oliver. He will be 5 months tomorrow and thought I'd
share our beautiful little boy with you. He looks like Mom with the red
hair. Hope all is well, Sharon
He is up to almost 5 lbs now and really is fun for both John and I. We are
really enjoying having this little guys in our family. We have our own
little red head.... ;-)

Hi Melissa,
Grunt (now Gizmo) is doing very well :) He and my mother have bonded and she loves him so much. He goes to work with her every day so that he can be watched, and he seems like he is almost potty trained. He gets along fabulously with my mother's other dog, and with all the dogs in the extended family. The vet said he is looking well and will be getting his next set of shots on the 17th. All in all, he is happy, healthy, and sweet, and we all love him dearly.
I have pictures of him for you that I will be sending along shortly. Thank you for everything, and I hope the very best for you and your family this holiday :)

Hi Melissa, we had a parade in our neighborhood & santa stopped by my house! Here’s a couple of photos. I hope they don’t take too long to open. I’ve also included Fergie with her “sisters” KC (the golden doodle) and Roxy (the white Shepard mix) Hope all is well.

Melissa,
I just wanted to let you know what a joy this puppy is.
He is so smart, very fiesty (he chases after my cat and my cat is scared to death of him). He went to the vets on Moday and got a clean bill of health. I think he also learned to growl and bark at the vets unless he was being shy with me over the weekend.
His name has been changed to Monty and when I send in his papers, he will be Mighty Monty.
I love him and thank you so much. He is beautiful.

Thank you again,
Jennapher

Hi Melissa,
Just a quick note to let you know Chloe is doing real well. She’s catching on to potty training real fast. She’s very social and loves everyone she has had contact with. She found my stash of toys and every day takes a new one and puts in her day bed which she use primarily for playing and storing her toys. I’m sure many parents would love to have their children pick up after themselves. When she’s tried she has a few favorite places to take a nap. I’m amazed at the things she does after only being here a few days. I have attached a few pictures of her playing in her bed.

Hi Melissa,
I hope all is well with you and your family. I see that you have many new additions to your Pap family, they’re all so cute. Many of my friends suggest that I pick one out as a playmate for Chloe. Chloe is doing really well and growing rapidly; she’s becoming very tall. Her potty training has been going very well; as a matter of fact I believe we’re there. Chloe is well socialized with people; she especially loves children, which is very important living where I do with new faces almost every week. She has attended 2 puppy kindergarten classes and is doing pretty good. She’s not too sure of all the big puppies in the class, but I’m sure she’ll get used to them in time. You will notice it the pictures that she still has two little pink spots on her nose, which may become her trademark. Also, her blaze has been slowly disappearing with just a little white remaining on her forehead.

HI Melissa,
Sorry it has taken me 2 weeks to send you an email on how Alex (Simba) is doing. He is WONDERFUL! We are so proud of him and how smart he is. He is about 95% puppy pad trained now and is the quietest, sweetest puppy we have ever known! He has such a unique personality in comparison with other puppies that I have observed throughout the years. We chose not to crate train him, so he has our entire guest bathroom as his puppy palace. We put up a baby gate and gave him lots of toys, 2 really soft blankets, his snuggle puppy with a heartbeat, and some Disney stuffed dogs. Then we bought him a small cat carrier and took the door off so he had a "den" to sleep in. We refer to it as his "man cave". It's really cute because when he gets tired, he goes into his "man cave" and fights with his blankets, takes some of his toys with him, and then falls asleep. I come home every day for lunch to feed him so he doesn't get too hungry or lonely while we're working.
He went to the vet on September 8th and got a perfect bill of health. He goes again on the 24th for his next set of shots. Abigail kitty basically ignores him, which is not a bad thing. As we know, with cats, it could be much worse.
I am attaching some pictures of Alex that we took during his 1st week home. He doesn't go outside yet because he doesn't have all of his shots. The picture of him with his new harness and leash was taken after we only had him 4 days. I thought it would be fun to "practice" on a leash, so I walked him around the house. Picture 9831 is of him as he fell asleep with his snuggle puppy and the other one is while he was in his "man cave".
One of his ears is completely up now and the other one is almost up.
Take care,
Vickie & Steve Porter
